It’s Okay To Be Jealous

June 17, 2012

Every time someone comes up to me and says “I really feel for you guys,” or “I can’t imagine what you are feeling right now” I understand what they are really saying, “I am so jealous of you right now!”

Think about it, we are beginning another journey that allows us to see God work in amazing ways, watch his miraculous power, have the opportunity to more easily share Him with others, and grow in my relationship to be all the closer to my creator.

I believe every challenge we face is an opportunity. We can either look at it as an opportunity to follow Christ, or an opportunity to view our situation as the world does.

The world says we should be afraid, confused, angry, and questioning God. And although all of those emotions are fine and I have often said God is the best person in the world to question, because He knows the answer, I choose to celebrate that God is going to teach us something over the next year that will blow our minds.

So I embrace this privilege to embark on the journey with Danielle. And am reminded of God’s words in Habakuk 1:5.
The LORD replied,
“Look around at the nations;
look and be amazed!
For I am doing something in your own day,
something you wouldn’t believe
even if someone told you about it. (Habakkuk 1:5 NLT)

What journey is God calling you on? What is your next adventure to make His name great? Embrace it, walk it, and share it with others!

    Going on this journey with you and Danielle will bring up all a closer walk with God . and help us to look at challenge in our on life and through ya’ll faith and courage know we can let God power take over. Talking to other people helps some, but they’re not always around . But God is , and he’s always ready to listen.
